Essay Topics - An Interesting Reading For People Who Are Very ConfidentA Man Who Was Almost a Man by Robert Stone is an interesting read. In this short book, Stone discusses with a level of detail about various people who were taken by surprise when they woke up, changed, and had a very different outlook on life. These characters are fictional, but each one experienced something quite different after being turned into a completely different person. The Man Who Was Almost a Man starts off by describing the different stages that this guy went through as he went through his entire life. The first few chapters describe the different events that led up to the change, the characters in the story that were affected by the change, and what the person who was turned into this completely different person did after experiencing the entire process. One of the first things that this guy experienced was being raised by wolves, which is described as being 'bad news' for this different man. This happe ned when the first man was still very young, which explains why he is not too sure about himself. The next time this different man was turned into a wolf, he was only about five years old. He didn't remember it happening, but he and his friends did.He became so afraid of the world and of people that he turned into a bad news wolf, only to find out that his friends had been mistaken. Because of this experience, he had very little self confidence as he continued to grow up, and he had to go through several traumatic experiences to get to the point where he had been before.Another experience that this different boy had was when he was about ten years old. This time he was a huge star quarterback in the school football team, and when he realized that he had turned into a wolf, everyone laughed at him. He went through a lot of painful experiences in his life, including the death of his mother and the guilt of the other members of the team.It wasn't until later that his father realized th at he had turned into a bad news wolf, and he and his family started to gather all of the old stuff up. When this happened, the same thing happened to this boy. He was then able to see what people saw in him, and he became very aware of the situation he was in.When he turned 18, he was almost completely obsessed with the idea of being in a strange world. He thought about how he had become a bad news wolf, and he thought about how he wanted to do something about the problems that he and his friends were facing. He had enough self confidence to know that he would be able to solve all of these problems, and he could have done much more. The Man Who Was Almost a Man can help any person see the importance of looking at a major event in their life and determining the changes that occurred in order to become who they are today. There are plenty of people who have already gone through this type of change and have plenty of stories to tell, so anyone should try to take advantage of this book and really learn something from it.
